Xenon bulbs??

Anyone fitted Xenon bulbs to a 696?
I fitted Xenon H4s to my other bikes and they work fine without any transformer thingys etc....
I am not bothered about extra night time light, i just want more daytime visibility which i believe the Xenon gives you..

I thought about going down the xenon route, but could'nt be arsed to be honest. Trying to fit all that stuff like ballasts and making sure the H4 equivalent bulbs would fit.
If its just more "road presence" you are after, try these Motovision bulbs. I've had them in my last 2 bikes and I'm sure they make a difference. :cool:

I'll second that, I have the Ice Blue versions from the same company in both my S4 and Z750 and they both throw more light onto the road and the "different" colour def. makes you more visible.

Thanks guys... That is what i wanted.... I have got so called 'HID' in my BM, which are a xenon like bulb; they throw a white/blue light and don't need ballast etc... Was it H4 you had to order...

I bought some PIAA H4 Chrome Mirror white and they really made a difference. You can get a blue white one as well. Very pricey though, 55 notes for 2 from Motaman
