Do TDM needles and main jets fit a 600 monster

Was wondering if the needles and jets from a yamaha tdm fit in an M600?

I'm pretty sure they'll be different if they do fit and will cause odd running.

I spect they'd fit a Yam TDM though, you might want to try some more specific parts??
Answer is they might, more likely they wont. The jets might be the right size (flow rate) but the thread and its overall length might be different. The needles are going to have a basic diameter and length so might be similar but the taper will be a specific length and angle.

Somewhere in the deepest recess of the attic I've got a box with a shed load of jets, needles, floats and slides all for different bikes that were sod all else for much else once swapped out.

They are the same carbs but the jets may be different

can't cause engine damage unless you ride a long way with weak jets and overheat or do a lot of cold running with rich jets (washes the oil off the bores)

If you have the interest and the time --- just do it

After all whats to lose? You can only learn
