Still got to put on the barends (need to drill a hole in them for the longer thicker bolts) and still to put on the second mirror (same thread direction on each of the mirror but different on the adapters :( )

Sarah, the cat and the girls were good to me this year.

So at what point after fitting the bars did you realise you'd have to take them off again to fit the controls? :D Nice bling though.

:) Now you see with the Rizoma stuff you don't have to they have a handy little mechanism that just slides into an hole. I guess that's what you pays yer money for.

Good stuff Squiffs!

You know there's an easier way to make your bike look pretty: swap her for a 696/1100.

Congrats all the same.

:) Happy Christmas and a Merry new year to you Mr Snips.

Glad you like it. I guess you'll be trading up soon to the big one or even the even uglier Street fighter ;)

Actually, I would love to trade up for the upcoming Summer, but credit crunch has me feeling a bit nervous.

Also, everytime I get out on the 696 it feels like it's plenty, really.

Doesn't mean I couldn't be tempted though...

Hope you're enjoying Christmas with your family.

It's looking great squiffy. I particularly like those grips.

It's very cold though isn't it? I was trying (unsuccesfully) to put the rearsets on my Hyper yesterday and had to give up when my feet went numb and my hands turned blue

Hi G - I am still waiting for the rearsets. there has been a slight problem and I may have to take it into the garage to be fitted :worried:

Glad your mirrors etc are good - let me know if you struggle to get the new adapter - I may have one, but it is hidden in the garage.

Ordered in a set from Seastar yesterday and should be here within the week. As there is snow on the ground I don't think the bike will be going very far at the mo :)
