I have a 1994 m900 and I didn't realise until I took my standard headlight off that it had a cut away on the side to allow the speedo cable to pass by unobstructed.

I have managed to fit the dominators (to the standard bracket) but I have had to really bend the speedo cable to get it to pass around them. Is this okay or will a tight bend in the cable cause problems?

It would be good to hear from people with older monster that have done a twin light conversion and how it has worked out for them or if they have modded the bracket etc .

Cheers

Not an older Monster but my S4 had the same issue when I added the Dominators. I found that there was sufficient "slack" below the fork clamp for the speedo cable that I could "gain" a little on the top side sorting out any "tight bend" problems. I kept the cable over to the side clear of the rear of the lights with some nylon ties - worked for me no probs.

I've changed back to the standard headlight now I've got the new CF screen.

Cable ties to the rescue! :)
