Just got a price on p/exchanging my 696+ for a KTM SuperdukeR , £4,000! It was registered in September 08 and got only 820 miles on the clock - book price is £3,825 according to the dealer - I think I will keep my 696!!

Thats low,i have got a much pex price than that for Jan if i dont sell it privatly.Just try a different ktm dealer,you will get more.

Craig sick with your monster or another ducati if you are happy with the brand as a good friend of mine bought a super duke R, hated it from almost the day he got it, modded it to try and make it more user friendly and after a few weeks sold it at quite a loss.

I have had a go on a super duke before I bought the 696 and found it really bad in town as the fuelling was so bad, but saying that on the open road it was awesome. The only reason I would like the super duke is that I find the engine power on the 696 a bit gutless as my last bike was a GSX-R1100M which you had to treat with repect. I have taken an 1098 out when I had the 696 serviced which I found I went slower on compared to the 696 because it had so much more power that could cause me to end up in a ditch! I dont know if fitting some termis to my bike would make the engine feel and sound more meaty?

i saw it - it looks lovely. It has Termis as well. If you were looking for a 696 this would be a good buy.

Better than my Multi that I px'd for 4k, then they had it up for 5250, although in fairness it was out of warranty and needed 2 new tyres.....
I always thought Snell were a decent bunch..

Nope....sold it a few months ago...too bloody revvy!!! annoyed the hell outta me, im much happier on a monster and want another one....i still have the 695 (kinda) cos sold it to a mate who now wants to sell it too, so its in my garage....dont have the hugest amount of $$ though!!
