Simple to fit only problem where to put ballast.
I fitted it under the tank to the right of the battery and above, but had to order an extension leads for the ballast wiring £20
A second Extension would allow it to be fiited where the tool kit is located.
Basically fitting involved removing headlight 2 nuts
6 small philips screws securing cover at back of headlight
Pull off power connector undo clip allowing bulb to be removed
Insert new Hid bulb fit clip ensuing tip doesnt touch reflector inside(can be pushed forward if needed)
Fit 2 spade connectors into power connector
The cover you removed needs a hole cut into it to alow the rubber grommit to be inserted.
Push cables through hole fit everything back together route cable along existing wiring
Then you have to get underneath the tank remove all panels as prev descibed on other threads as if getting to the battery.
I managed to attach the ballast to the tank there is a space above to the right of the battery near the relays, double sided tape held it in place (there is nowhere for it to fall or move and it doesnt get stinking hot like the slimline versions do)
connect the cable extensions they just plug into each other, cable ties and job done.
You can reverse everything as no wires are cut just put a blanking grommit where you cut the whole.
Result Very bright white with blue tinge brilliant upgrade
Only question now do i fit one to the high beam?
looks great as you switch on, it sparks up and hums as the 23,000 volts burns

I was thinking of this conversion. How hot do the slimline ballasts get?

Not sure They just advised the non slim version doesnt run hot so i went with the pro version as it was brighter and as its fitted next to the tank.
Boiling petrol probably little dangerous!
Give them a call they were very helpfull
