longer Sidestand

I need to extend the S4 stand by 3cm and in previos thread alot of useful ideas cam to me ,
but i have just been told that a Multistradas or DS1000 stand is 3 cm longer and may fit ?

I have removed the stand and am bringing it to UK when i come to work so I have options.

I made one a bit longer
Just cut in and weld a longer piece on it

We welded an inch thick chunck of metal onto the foot of the stand, then shaped it using the anglegrinder - yes a club foot - the bike didn't look like it was going to fall over whn parked :thumbsup:
