Hey folks,
can anyone suggest whats best to stick on the bottom of the tank to stop scratches appearing? starting to get marked by knees rubbing tank. Dont want something that looks tacky!!!

You can get it in various colours inc clear.

It's basically a thick sheet of plastic film (self adhesive). If you take your time, you can use a heat gun (be careful of the paint on the tank) to mold it to the shape of the tank - IE Go from one side across the rear of the tank and over the other side.

Otherwise, just cut a couple of pieces to fit the area where your legs go.

Ventureshield.
It's (fairly) easy to fit and is invisible when fitted..

You could try wearing a big baggy cardigan over your leathers. If it's long enough you can tuck it between your knees and the tank... instant anti-scratch protection :thumbsup:

I used a clear plastic film called Sharkskinz on mine - but it's not available now AFAIK

You can also purchase Carbon tank sides, well you can for the 916 range.
