To all the Kent members...........

I'm thinking of having patches made up with the design in my / Gary's signature.

I've spoken to the embroiderer and they can do an embroidered one or a printed one. They'll be big enough to go on your arm.

Interested ??....Let me know

Hi all,

sorry for my absence - been down with the dreaded "man-flu". A real killer !!

Had a response from the lady who's doing the patches - It'll cost me 33 quid to get the machines set up and the first two patches made ( one embroidered and one printed )

After that it'll cost £4.00 for an embroidered and £3.00 for a printed patch + VAT.

So it wont really be much more with postage on top.

As soon as they're done, I'll post some pics of them and you can see what you think......

I have upped the prices slightly guys, after talking to Ped. Reason being, a small donation for the Club would be appreciated. It's only £1.50 so no bank breaking !!

I've been talking to Ped about that. The only thing is the initial cost to get the machines set up. Its around £25 for the embroidered one. That's quite an outlay for each county when you add it up. I don't know though, the cost may come down if there are lots.

You should have room for negotiation, especially if it's a computerised machine, it should be just a question of feeding the picture in, checking the decisions the machine has made about shapes and pressing go. Plus there's the fact the club has a couple of thousand members so if she gives a bit on setup costs she potentially sells several hundred patches rather than 10 or 20.

I've just this minute spoken to the woman - she is in agreement that there will be a consession. I think she realises there is only minor changes to be made for each county. The basic design being the same.
The first two samples should be ready pretty soon
