Thanks for the info. I think I might go for it. Did you make your own fitting brackets or did you buy a kit, as it says that it does not come with the brackets or bolts?

just got mine back from the painters along with tank and bits. the gel coat is thin so it will blister with heat but ok if home spraying...
they are good for the money and easy to fit.

Thanks for the headup on the gel coat srapps. I was going to get a local expert to paint it so will let him know to watch out for that.

I was looking at getting a Pan, any benefits other than BLING?

I know I am getting it for the bling factor. Anything else is a bonus.

these unpainted belly pans... if they're 30 odd quid unpainted and 30 more to paint (after you've bought colour and lacquer each at 15 a can) you're rapidly into the same price league as getting a carbon one from the outset - assuming C12 is your thang...

Personally I like the painted bellypan over the CF one, but then I'm odd. (Plus there are plenty of other places for CF on the bike) I can see your point about the cost adding up by the time it is painted and fitting kit paid for, but then it seems nothing comes cheap when it has anything to do with a Ducati.

The bellypan has arrived along with the fitting kit, but I am having problems getting the brackets to fit on the clutch side. The front bracket is catching on the engine casing and the back one will need to be spaced out as the bolt that should be used is recessed into the casing. Has anyone else fount the same problems or is this due to being fitted to the s2r1000? Any pics of brackets fitted to the clutch side would be a great help.

Thanks in advance.
