So I have had a Monster in my garage for a week now. Decided to take the little monkey out for a spin to J&S in Northwich today. Got a clearer picture of exactly what the 996 is capable of.
BLOOODY HELL!!!
So deceiving, give in a hand full in 1st and 2nd but backing off a little, looked down expecting to see 50mph as it felt so lazy and hey presto I am travelling a lot quicker, a hell of a lot quicker. Handling, it turns in so much quicker than the 748, still trying to get my head round cornering and throttle control. More practice required.
Overall, the Monnie is the pups nuts, Monster riding position is perfect I love it, love it.
