I believe there is/was a 675cc kit available - Slob or AK, or one of the Desmo Due bods will probably confirm the details (I don't think they were eligible in the DD racing series)...

You could also try someone like Baines Racing for info on that sort of thing...

Wasn't Shandy flogging one of these?

675 kit was for the 600, still doesn't give anywhere near the performance of a 620ie (the performance bottleneck is the small valves on the 600. Sorry to break it to you but a bigger bike will be the cheapest option, if you can find an 800ie rather than s2r any special bits you've invested in should switch right across. You night strike lucky and find a 800ie/s2R/SS motor, throttle bodies and ecu are the same I think.... off to the garage now to check out that shock for you...

There 'was' a 675 kit for the M600's (583) but even in early 2005, there was none available for the later carbies (1998 - 2001)
Baines did do a one-off kit for the 620 which they put into Geoff Spencers (620) in the first year of DD in 2005, but he had to remove it as they were not permitted in the series (and are still forbidden even now for the 620's).

Have you gone down the PC route to improve the fuelling & get a better midrange on the bike?

To be honest, if using a properly set up PC doesnt rock your boat, you'd be better off thinking about getting a 900ie engine (& also sourcing an oil cooler) to go into your bike, as this will be far easier than getting a lot of head work done etc.
