I'm at the other end of the spectrum - it's one of the ugliest monsters I've ever seen.

I knoew there'd be some other opinions, I used to have a Buell XB9 so I like the whole streetfighter look on a bike, have to admire the work this guys put in. Its where I want to take my S2R just need to rob a bank and get an engineering degree first !!!

I agree "unfinished" is the look and the reflector bolted on to the hugger, nice touch. NOT.
Then again one man's poison and so on..................

Nope, I can see why some might like it, but not my cup of tea at all....

That he didn't design it in the first place...

a fine example of a cheque book/catalogue custom
normally the monster of the month is worth looking at for the ideas and engineering that have gone into it
with that one you can see where Rizoma/Road racing have got gaps in the range and he's had to improvise
or he's bought one of everything from every catalogue and decided to use it all
not floating my boat

I wonder if it wrankles him that for all his iconic design work some young upstarts parts bin special was the bike that saved Ducati and still sells well today

You'd have to think so. Maybe he also a Zen master and has only flowing thoughts about these things....

he actually did a lot of the work himself, a lot of the carbon he had to improvise himself

don't get it guys, I think this bike is a very original take on the monster, I love it, I suppose its a less traditional approach but then I did used to own a Buell - that incidently almost killed me. Its similar to the confederate hellcat - which you all prob hate as well!!
each to there own I suppose

I admire the work that he's put into it but not keen on the look of it.

ewwwww take the most astecially pleasing of bikes and turn it in to a hideous eye sore
I does look a bit like a buell but even they look better than this
I agree that he has just raped a parts catolouge and put very little thought it to it
Not nice

Don't like it at all
The s2R1000 represents the pinnacle of aircooled monster chic, and this guy has turned one of the prettiest bikes around into an expensive eyesore. Anyone that thinks it's an improvement on what rolled out of the factory needs help.

it's just.....weird....not keen, the front mudguard looks like something off jackass. i.e. when they take the hair clippers and just shave a stripe out of someone's hair.

Great. Except for the MAD tail chop. Go back and do that bit again. Props to anyone who does all this work but I think it odd that there is no footage of it actually being ridden, which is ironic as it is on youtube which is dedicated to video.
