Have seen a few other non-Ducati bikes with coloured rim-tape and on the ones I’ve seen it’s looked really good.

Not sure if it would suit the Monster, or if I did what colour, it’s only a thought but if I did then perhaps white to go with the white stripe on my red Capirex.

Has anyone else fitted rim-tape or have any opinions either way?

naff. Can't post less than 10 chars, so I'll say it again. Naff.

IMHO, clearly.

I wouldn't like tape around my rim, whatever the colour:gay:

Rim tape on our race bikes = yes :)

On our road bikes = no

Yeah, but that's different, CK, as it's the go-faster type.

It also identifies which wheel belongs to which bike, and which are the spares too! :D

nowt if it floats your boat, you leave yourself wide open if you ask for opinions, do what YOU want to do to your bike. Sod what anybody else thinks.

(Was joking about the neon’s by the way!!)

Now that looks great to me. I’ve got plain grey wheels, the front headlight fairing, tank and tail are red with a thick white stripe, I thought may be white stripes on the wheels would break the boring grey wheels up a bit.

My Z750 has silver rim tape which is a 3 part staggered ring - something different to a solid circle..

P.S. It also has green strip LED's (Neons are so yesterday) as well as blue twin flash police strobes hidden in both front and rear LED indicators - but in my defense it is used for night runs/shows.

If you use it on the wheels use the predominant colour on your bike, dont listen to the nay sayers, if its done well it looks good. The trick with all these graphics is not to use too many colours, keep it subtle and classy, by using the related colour what you are doing is breaking up the large plain area of the wheels and linking them visually to the bodywork.

Can you tell I'm an artist by trade.;)

Reflective rim tape worked a treat on our toilet bowl

Helps me to find it in the dark

Now there's a useful bit of advice, I'll try that. It might work on dogs too, save me stepping on them in the dark when navigating to toilet :mand:
