Ducati New Model Listings

Looking on Ducati.com, I notice the non faired Sport 1000 is no longer available, also there is no mention of the S2R 1000.
They are listing the new Monster 1100 & 1100S.
I notice the new 1100 comes with silver wheels regardless of bike colour & the 1100s comes with gold wheels regardless of bike colour, also neither bike is shown with the clock cowl?

If I was ordering one, I would want the base 1100 with black wheels.

I reckon the first ones they want to be in control of spec and not offer customer choice. I reckon they will give more later when people start writing to them about frame colours and wheels etc. I may want a red frame black wheels and black tank S please :rolleyes::mand:

I'm happy with mine...although I'm a newbie, I'm finding it hard to like the new design, the original just seems so much more of an animal - the new 1100 just looks a bit too refined and not ragged enough (which I'm sure its not!) I'll be interested to see if they crank the 1098 engine into it.....
