Ducati Performance Kit

Hi,

I have just fitted a Ducati performance kit to my S2R. My question is to do with the cut away airbox lid.

Is there any risk of water getting in, if riding in the rain?

Anybody any ideas? It sounds great, just a litle concerned.

It'll be fine, the filter is still pretty well hidden by the tank, had open airboxes on both my monsters, done over 40K miles with no issues.

Just be careful with the hose pipe when you wash the bike especially around the front of the tank where the latch is.

My s2r 1000 is like this and went to Ireland this year. Pissed down all the time 1200 miles in three days on prob at all :)
