Wasn't going out the bike today but after watching that I changed my mind :idea:

Shame he didn't let the others get ahead a bit more would have liked to have seen Eau rouge taken at a bit more speed.

Good idea for a trip next year it's not that far :thumbsup:

I've done three days there this year

It was the reason I couldn't go to Belgium with you guys, Sunday out on the ring, Monday - Spa.

Its the best track ever, ever.

Very, very fast, I'm seeing 180+ at the top of the hill, a brief glance at the speedo at the apex of Blanchimont showed 150+

A company called Bikersdays has the contract to run all bike trackdays there, he subs out some days to other companies.

Warning, Spa is very popular and sells out in hours. We are already in contact with the companies we've been with, asking about next year. This year the two days we booked sold out in a morning.

You have to check the websites every morning and book immediately.

Its well worth it, the track is smooth and flowing with a mix of excellent corners, big uphills and downhills.

Bikersdays (they will run it no matter who you book with) run a very good day, the marshalls are full time professionals, theres two docctors cars out around the track and ambulances waiting, with two med centres.

You are given a timesheet of your groups and the whole day is running according to that so you know exactly when you're out.

You get five or six decent sessions, the last session on the last day was half an hour.

Do it, you wont ride a better track

website seems a bit confusing but I'll keep an eye on it.

It'll definitely have to be a van job with 2-3 bikes/people or trailer+helper, I wouldn't want to ride to a Euro tackday just in case the worst happens (again).

That video was taken during the Bikers Days School session, hence the orange jackets

they are being assessed on their lines, not their speed.

If you look carefully you'll see the cones on the 'turn in' and 'apex' points

once you get them right the speed comes easily, get them wrong and you can be going very fast in the wrong place

we'r planning a trip to the biker classic next july. Maybe even have a ride down to the nurburgring too. Anyone interested?
