View Full Version : Docklands lunch meet Saturday 4th Oct.
The first Saturday of the month is approaching so...
Meeting at Fatboy's Diner, Trinity Buoy Wharf, E14 0JW.
Between 12:00 and 13:00 for lunch.
Afternoon weather looks as though it'll pretty iffy at the moment, so probably no rideout but I'll be there for a burger and a chat if anyone fancies it.

Hope to join you especially to see the red road!!
The map is really good - if I can't find the place after all that I'm going to pretend I never left the house!!!

Well I made it there to arrive behind Ms Benson and a bike length in front of Craigie. Nice bike btw.
As per usual great coffee and burger and chips.
Those attending were Benson, Me , Craigie, Slob joined later by Thuli, Yan the man and followed last minute to shop off his Very nice new seat was Diego.
Left early to be somewhere and caught a tiny bit of rain 5 mins from home. Very windy though.

Nice seat indeed Diego!
Good to see everyone - and a good wind assisted ride back too!!!
Good ride out too, squeezed in 75 miles of Essex twisty bits and got home dry!
Thanks for leading Yan, your riding has improved loads since Spring: faster, smoother and I no longer hold my breath while you're overtaking. Thanks for minding the 30s and 40s too, I'm sure the villagers of Essex will thank us for it.

Was it 70 miles already!! That was quick...
Thanks Rob, certain things i think have improved, but I still need to work on a lot of things... may be an advance rider course and track days...
The quick blast was fun for sure!

That's good news! Tomorrow does indeed look like a truly disastrous day weather wise so the alarm has been set for BP from the warmth of a bed and duvet!

Good to see everyone there! Shame on me being late. My timekeeping is horrible!
Nonetheless always a pleasure to see familiar and new faces. Albeit short timewise in some cases.
Loved the little rideout too. Yan you the man for suggesting a little Essex fun! Your ridin has defo improved. It was me being the novice almost wipin out like that ;-) Almost had a grass sandwich there hahaha...
Cannot believe we managed to get some dry tarmac. I sooooo needed that fix. The commute into London city only does not do a Monster justice.
Hasta luego.
