Hello all!!

I'm looking into getting some rear sets mainly because i don't need all that mass of metal from the original due to having high arrow's, any one know where to get a good set from?

Also i'm looking into increasing the acceleration a wee bit on my 05 M620 (already have K&N and Arrow's plus i have a PCIII USB power commander on it's way! :woot:), what sort of amount of teeth on a renthal or other should i be looking at?

Thanks in advance

The most common Mod is going down to a 14T front. A bit more acceleration at the cost of a little top end. You should have 15T front/46Trear so that would be the equivalent of going up approx. 3 teeth on the back.
Have a play on http://www.gearingcommander.com/ for an idea of what you'll get for your changes.

eBay ones are cheap for a reason... not a great finish close up,
okay if you want sacrificial items for a trackbike, not so good for roadgoing bling.
(also they don't offer great protection for the reear master cylinder)

Check out Style&Performance at http://www.redracingparts.com/en/english.htm
also not that cheap I'm afraid

...ya gets what you pay for!

Style & Performance ones look quite good too, nice simple lines. They don't look like they provide any extra protection to the rear master cylinder over the ebay ones though.

I was thinking it might be possible to anodise the ebay rearsets black?? :)

Grundy, just out of curiosity who do you work for offshore???

Theres a guy on ebay.it sells dp rearsets for £160 shipped. Uk sellers want at least £100 more than that.

Making the bike lighter will make it accelerate faster too.
Depending on your budget. Theres an ebay seller selling Braking wheels and brakes for the monster for 800 and odd quid which is well cheap.

Ducati Performance and S&P mount the master cylinder further in I seem to remember. DP v.similar to S&P except they don't allow for pillion pegs/low exhausts

Panther,

I work with a small wellhead company called Plexus.
Been working alot in Baku and some other place also...you offshore yourself??

I was also speaking to a mechanic and he was warning me not to just replace the front sprocket due to how the chain will have worn to match the original front sprocket and if i replace it there would be a chance of the original chain failing, so i'm going to buy the full renthal set off of ebay to be safe!!!
