Web gurus
It's probably me being thick, but is there a button to get to the main forum page from the portal?
I seem to have to go into "new posts" and then the forum.

Yours in stupidity

PS - i have now found the "gallery" button :D

sorry ignore me. I didn't read properly that you were in the protal.

Try the FORUM link in the menu just below the banner:

FEATURES GALLERY FORUM ABOUT LINKS CONTACT REGIONS

Thanks terry , but the UKMOC logo leads you to the front page, but not to an index of the forum.

Tonio - there is no

"FEATURES GALLERY FORUM ABOUT LINKS CONTACT REGIONS" below the banner on the portal page.

That's it - but I have no menu

I will try removing all cookies etc and see if it does any good.

Hi singletrack - I have a menu on my mac but not my (nasty) windoze machine from work - maybe you need a nice new shiny mac!!!! Hope that you're ok - we never did manage that Sunday lunch did we??

Take care and hon and keep in touch, happy menu hunting!

quickets way is to hit the "new posts" button and when they are displayed, just under the UKMOC logo and your details there's a line of text that starts "UK Monster Owners Club Forum...." that shows the page you're on - click the first bit to get to the forum

I figured that one out ped- I just wondered if there was an easier way to find it - some users might not be as committed as me :chuckle:
It looks like its just my PC though - I hate Vista!

Benson - a new shiny Mac. That's an idea. can I only use it in the rain? I got a new shiny PC and it's driving me mad. It won't let me on half the sites I want to visit, and doesn't show me all the things on the ones I do visit ( Did I mention I hate Vista?)

Shame we didn't manage lunch - things have been a bit hectic here. I haven't had chance to get out much lately :(

Singletrack, if you're not already doing so, I would strongly recommend you to download and install Firefox. It's simply better.

www.mozilla.com

Then you may get the menu you're after ;)

Does it work with vista? Nothing else seems to :twak:

I don't see any menu on my Mac in Safari or Firefox.
Why isn't there just a simple button?

I just end up typing this in: http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster
to get to the forum.

Today's Posts and then the breadcrumbs is my only way in to the top of the forums (Firefox 3 on Ubuntu)

"breadcrumbs" is the technical name for this bit:

UK Monster Owners Club Forum >> .: Web Page & Forum :. >> Help and Site FAQ's
