I'm looking to get a new pair of boots, my Sidi's are looking a bit shabby and the wet creeps in at an alarming rate through the zip.

However, I went to Demon Tw*ts at the weekend and spotted a pair of the SMX 4 - tried them on, seemed quite nice, my questions are:

Are they waterproof and are they any good? Would you recommend them?

If not, am I going to have to win the lottery to buy a pair of Daytonas?

hi mand, i have a pair of smx 4 waterproof, i would recommend them, i wear mine everyday to and from work in all weathers and never had wet feet yet. I wore them at arrow mill this year and still no wet feet !

Cheers Alan, if you didn't get wet feet Arrow Mill, they must be the dogs. :D

Hi Mand, I bought some of these this year from Hein Gericke. They are very comfy, warm (although mine obviously haven't seen a winter yet) and dry. They feel good to walk around in as well. Recommended.

smx are great if you dont walk very far from the bike in them sidis are much harder waering on the heel / sole (
