Ipod Nano Dead??

Not a Ducati question but my old ipod screen seems to be knackered, it just lights up briefly and then goes off, the music still plays but no view :confused:

Anyone know if i can do anything with it or is it proper knackered and i need to add a new one to my christmas list?

Cheers Kato, i will take a look at that, as its over 4 years (ish) old it might be woth upgrading to a new one :thumbsup:

My work do the warranty repairs for Apple in the uk and are also an apple approved refurbish centre.

I don't know much about them tho i work with Digital TV stuff.

But i'll describe the fault to one of the guys from the Apple room.
I could be wrong but i it sounds like you need just a screen.

If it does work out not worth fixing then Ebay it.

Did you try all the reset methods listed on Apple's website?

These worked when my old iPod Photo stopped playing last year. I've had to use them on my funky new one a couple of times too.
