im a cynic by nature, but to me it looks like a sachs shock with and ohlins spring to me.
i could be wrong but i thought monste ohlins had remote reseervoirs.. mine does. or remote reservoirs and remote adjusters.

And me. Not all have the remote reservoir etc, depends on the model

Ask him what the number is, it should start DU and also be 330mm between centres.
Looks to me like model S46DR1 or S46ER1 to me

Could be an Ohlins spring on a stock shock.

I've already ask the vendor what model monster the shock came from....he does'nt know?!Me think's he should know!!

i asked him what numbers and other marking were on the shock not the spring this is ihis reply.

markings on bottom cup/spring holder -
Ohlins racing 629-01 ,

DU8320 means its an OE part from a ca 2000 900 Sie.
just not as bling as one with a remote reservoir.
