I had a call from Arbeia Michael tonight from his hospital bed sorry to say that he's had a bit of a collision with a car that pulled out from a 'T' junction.

The main thing is that he's ok, had an operation and a few pins and a plate in his leg and a few other bits of damage.

He was on his way home this morning by the Nissan plant after finishing his nightshift. He saw the car stop look and as he was almost level pull out and he went over the bonnet and up the road. Sounds like the bike will be totally knackered.

Would like to wish you all the best and get well soon.

Ouch. Luckily the damage isn't worse, but it's still plenty bad enough. Can't believe the car driver waited for him to be almost level before pulling out, must have been totally blind.

GWS mate!

Hope all goes well and the healing is quick, big hugs. I can't believe how stupid some car drivers are, hope the guy gets the book thrown at him. It does make you wonder what you have to do, and it's after that horrible ad campaign of a numpty pulling out.

Get well soon mate...there sure are some idiots out there....take this one i saw today, followed a mini cooper up Marlborough high st today, the female driver was weaving a little and failling to keep up with the flow of traffic, so i decided to pass as there was plenty of space, to my amazement as i pulled up alongside her, she had a mobile in one hand, and a battery and sim card in the other, attempting to fit them back togheter, how flippin irresponsible is that, with a dissapproving shake of the head i made my way past....where's plod when you want them ?
