I've got my Euro's & just bought a first aid kit in Halfords tonight. Will also have the UKMOC banner on the rack + a spare Hi-vis jacket.

Can we have a list of who's taking what to save duplication?

What sort of things do you have in mind GT?
Tyre Weld.
Lamps.
Hi-viz.
Snap on tool box.

EDIT: Don't forget that according to the AA you'll need to have your V5, license and insurance docs, also adjust your lights to block out the beam (I'll have some insulation tape for those that forget). I think a hi-viz packed as well. Oh and some cash for on the spot fines.

The question is do I tempt fate by not taking my waterproofs?

The question is do I tempt fate by not taking my waterproofs?
Not likely.

I've been out and bought some new wet weather stuff. The temperature on mainland Europe is different to ours. It is much colder, temperatures at night at the moment, in Brussels, is 5 - 6 degrees C. It may well rain on Monday. Cold and wet are not a good combination for those of us over 40, who have to be back at work early next week.

You pays your money....

I'm packing my waterproof overboots too, but hoping they stay packed.

Still got to re-fit the rack and top up my scottoiler, but at least it's clean now

Now.... where's my "things to pack for Belgium" list?
