Just bought one of these kits off ebay. They only did white, i wanted silver, so might get one made in silver anyway..

But, just noticed that the ones i've seen don't always go down the centre of the bike? usually on centre on the front mudguard, S4R is offset on the flyscreen and offset to the right on the tank, S4RS is cetnral on the tank (the one I saw didn't have the tailpeice on and i don't have a pic from the front). It looks a bit wierd on the tailpeice if not central.

Are there any rights and wrongs when it comes to fitting these? if you're going to tell me an S4 shouldn't have one then save your breath and don't bother...

I don't think there is a right or wrong way at all. It's your bike so use a bit of artistic license if you like. Only a sticker, you can always take it off. You can practice using strips of paper and cellotape to give you an idea of what the out come might be.

the S R ones are offset. on the tail peice it follows the curve in the tailpeice.
looks ok i think the petrol tank looks daft wi the offsets stripe tho. tiny little bit where it passes the filler cap.

I used to work for a digital printers an did them myself. Not there now but you should be able to find a decent sign place with a digital printer to make them.

It's a little bit more expensive, and not quite what your after......... but I got my stripe painted on, I think it really sets of the red wheels. The guys at the pant shop practised with masking tape so I could get an idea of how it would look, so I could decide how wide I wanted the stripe.

I'm currently trying to arrange for this to happen to the naughtybike

but with a bit of a twist. I want the stripe to be split about half way up the beak and then for it to run down the sides in a ribbon effect as if the bike has torn through it. It hopefully will have a 3D effect as it flows down the sides. I am looking to get this done in graphics rather than painted and am in touch with a vehicle wrapping company to see what they can do. What do you all think of the concept?

I did my wifes bike a month or so back. basically the bike was a 98 600 dark and she wanted some red on. So I rubbed everything down, primed and repainted the middle of the tank, mudguard & seat cover in the original met black but wth more metal flake in. I then masked off the area I wanted to keep black using some 'go faster stripe' from Halfrauds and then did the rest red. Pealed off the masking and after a light rub down and the monster decals I laquered everything in 2 pack laquer.
My wife loves it and it looks ace.

not sure if i like it or to redo it in silver? it's wonky, really hard do work out if it's central. it looekdit, but got it on the bike and it's off to the right slightly.

Not sure whether the mudguard would look right, might just go fo the ducati corse sticker on there.
