Anybody know if theres a suitable performance chip for an S4R? It has a drilled out airbox cored cans and de-cat pipe fitted.

At present the bike is far from smooth at low speeds and im looking for a cheaper option than a power commander.

The DP ECU is way more expensive than the PC

The S4R doesnt have a chip..you will have to replace the ECU. Forget the DP ECU. It costs telephone numbers and is very crude in its operation (just raises the fuelling everywhere). PC is the way to go with a few dyno runs.

A few of the members have fitted the Ultimap ECU. It replaces the OEM so is nice and simple to fit, without all the extra wiring and mounting associated with a PC. Not cheap but totally configurable.
