how do i go about this and what kit do i need

or anyone down this way got a kit i can borrow?

If your stuck I have a balancer that works off air flow, not specifically for bikes, but if there is access room, may do the job.

I have the workshop manual on PDF as well if you need it

Going away untill Friday so let me know then

cheapo ball in some tube, a bit low tech but works.
My father used to just use a bit of tube and listen to it.. then again he might just have been de-waxing his ears. Was all a bit of a black art.

my father-in-law used the same method on his old bikes. i'm sure that's great if you know what you're listening for, but...this seems entirely more plausible (http://www.ducatisuite.com/carbsynch.html)

not tried it on anything and don't even have a Duc (yet), but i'm reading up lots and hunting hard for one...

Always did mine on the kitchen scales. used sand and sugar to balance them identically........still doesnt run right though
