Gear Indicators

Has anyone fitted one of these things like the acumen jobbie..

( especially to a 695)

do they work, are they any good, or just a pita to fit and slow to update?

any recomendations

I don't see the point in them. Just keep feeding in gears until the lever stops moving. Don't ride by numbers ;)

I wouldn't buy one for the gears only, but I bought one because I wanted a voltmeter and I got it cheap. You need an adaptor for cable speedos though (another 30 quid or so). I haven't fitted mine yet.
