I want to change rearsets to adjustable black Rizomas, but have no idea how complex this might be. Can I do it all myself, even if I'm mechanically illiterate?
Are there any special tools or skills I need? Are there any instructions I could follow?
Help!

Thank you!

I did mine a couple of months ago and I'm a novice when it comes to these things - getting better though!

Just make sure you have a full set of allen keys (both sets - UK/EU - am sure there's a techy name for the two) and usual spanners.

The only tricky bit I had was with the clutch and where it would change up but not down. Finally got it sorted once I tightened up the long stick thing between footpeg and gear change thingy.

Also make sure you have plenty of washers - the exhaust hanger bit was loose and imagine you'd experience the same.

Also try www.moorespeedracing.com - found them to be the cheapest and best.

They should end up looking something like this.

Thank you both! Aren't they gorgeous! What about the brake light switch - is that difficult?

Should be easy to do. Not sure if the Rizoma ones use the standard brake switch or not but it would be more reliable to use a banjo type brake pressure switch.

Rizoma is lovely kit, but for the love of God, please do not buy them from those unscrupulous pikeys at eMoto!

Check out www.moorespeedracing.com they're the Rizoma importers. Unlike eMoto, they keep stock, provide excellent service & wont abuse you by telephone & e.mail
