View Full Version : Saturday evening in Belgium (22/09/2008)

Hello everybody,

Just this evening we've been trying out some restaurants around the hotel where most of you will be staying (Boskapelhoeve) during your visit in Belgium .
(It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it :) )

The result of this is a place in the same street, about 500m from the hotel (with more than enough beers on the menu) so you can easely roll back to the hotel (haven't checked if it's downhill though) if necessary.

Since the group will be around 30 persons we where asked to select 2 dishes to choose from:
1/ Flemmish stew
2/ Vol au vent

We were also asked to indicate how many of each needed, so if you could let us know what you want in this thread, we will sort everything out.
Both dishes are with meet, but I believe we con find a solution for the vegetarians too.

Best regards, and see you all in september

Maybe it's?
Belgian Chicken Fricassee (Vol-Au-Vent)
This delicious, creamy chicken fricassee is a classic Belgian recipe. Often served as a starter, but it is great as a main course as well, accompanied by plain rice or potato puree, for example. Freezes well. Its Flemish name is "Koninginnenhapje", which could be translated as "Queen's Nibble"... nice, isn't it?

Or not?
