Troy Bayliss at the Puma Store today

I just noticed that Troy Bayliss would be making an appearance at the Puma Store on Carnaby Street from 6pm this evening. Apparently, it is to mark the launch of a new 'exciting' range of Ducati apparrel. In other words some existing red puma products that will have a ducati logo printed on them somewhere and sold at a premium price.

Nevertheless, Troy will be there and if nothing else I'm assured he's quite handy on a bike. They also have a monster and a 1098 in the window. What a sales pitch aye - I should be in advertising ;)

Yeah, I'm back on the road. After my 6 months inside for my absolutely 'disgusting' offence, I'm now a free man and of course, a reformed character. However, I do now have a restraining order against me which means I can no longer be within 200m of a dual carriageway or tunnels that amplify the Ducati exhaust note.

Costing me an absolute fortune in increased insurance premiums though.

Funnily enough just been talking about you on the Ducatisti site, KTM headlights and the like.

Maybe I should saunter on over to there and introduce myself? Are they a friendly bunch who are willing to welcome an 'ex-con?'

They are indeed a friendly bunch, I mentioned to some geezer called Chicken that I knew someone else who had put a KTM headlight unit on his bike and he asked if it was Simon so he may know you, and you him.

Which is what we have been chatting about, gonna try and meet up at Fatboys in 3 or so weeks which you will be welcome to come and join the finger pointing. I still really want to strip mine down and I think seeing his in the flesh will make me want to even more.
