Wanted engine or crankshaft

Hi all,

just bought a 1994 m600 that was a non runner, and now have worked out what was wrong.

The engine wouldnt turn on the starter but would bump (wouldnt fire though).
Instantly thought starter sprag. I removed the LH case to gain access to said sprag. I found alternator rotor nut loose and rotor loose. I removed it and flywheel and noticed the end of the splines on the crank has stripped so the flywheel was free to rotate on the crank. There's the problem. BUGGER.

So I need a new 6 spline crank or a complete engine. I would like a 900 so if anyone has 900 engine going spare please let me know. And if anyone has a early 600 crank spare please also let me know.

Give Rich a call at Louigi Moto on 01761 453366. A few weeks back he had so many old cranks he was chucking them out. I think he even put a load in the boot of a car that went to the scrappers, just to make the weight up. Not sure what he's got left though.
