I have been told to use marine grease for my Duke, bearings shafts etc, is this a good move? Does it have the same qualities as regular bike grease or better? I know this grease is water proof and designed for sea water etc. in theory it sound good. Who else uses it and which one?
Cheers

I just use Coppaslip for brakes, threads etc. and lithium grase for shafts & bearings.

Depends where you're thinking of using it.

I use BEL RAY salt water proof grease on the wheel spindles, speedo drive and linkages.

Anything exposed that I dont want to rust seize but not anything with a major rotating load on it.

I wouldn't use it on anything inside a seal, suspension type stuff.

I got mine from a mate with a MX shop.
