Luggage racks

Seen some posts on here before about luggage racks but thought I would start a new thread. Seen this apprear on fleabay if it is of interest to anyone:

Personally I like the Ventura set up with the removable platform but as a cheaper alternative that looks OK and easy to fit it looks like something to consider.

I got fed up of trying to find one. The Ventura are a good idea, but they're too expensive to buy all the bits you need. Also someone in the past has chopped the frame tubes down on mine, so there's nowhere for the Ventura brackets to locate!
I come from the old school, where 20-30 years ago, if you wanted something, you made it!
So I bought a rack that looked about the right size/shape on ebay for 8 quid, took the hacksaw and blowlamp to it, and am currently making brackets, etc. Wanted it done in time for the Bulldog, but thats a bit optimistic now!
I'll take some photos when its done and put them up here.

It's a nice design but a bit small IMO
