Just a quick bump of this thread. As you may have spotted on another thread my wife gave birth, 14 weeks early, to a little girl, so will be looking to sell the bike soonest as I deffinitely wont have time to ride it for a while and could use the money to put towards stuff. Also, dont want the wife to worry about me having an accident as she has other things to worry about at the moment. ~(and yes, she doesnt like me riding anyway). :(

Will be back on a Monnie next year sometime but dont want to leave mine sitting around till then.

Still looking to sell my 695.
Reasonable offers will be welcomed.

Daughter is doing fine at the moment and the Doctors and Nurses are doing a grand job of looking after her.

Would want to be selling the bike sooner rather than later as it is not getting used at all at the moment due to spare time being spent up the Hospital etc.

So, if anyone knows anyone who is toying with the idea of buying a Monnie then please let them know.

Cheers

Hi Mate.
Im not actively selling my bike, eg, ebay, Biketrader, so it should still be here once youve taken your test.
Just drop me a pm when you pass :) and we can arrange for you to have a look at it or you can have a look before if you want although you are quite a way away..

Well done r66bby. Glad you got it out of the way before the new test comes in.
I can just imagine the huge grin on your face for the next few days, especially when you see a bike go past.

Thanks Jerry, although when I first read your post I thought i must be some sort of male slapper :) .

Right
R66bby has now bought my lovely little 695. He will be picking it up later this week so I am going to be bikeless for a little while.

I do however still want to get a cheapy run around as I dont want to lose the ability to get out and have a ride when I want. So if anyone knows of anyone selling a good bike cheap then please let me know. Cheap means hundreds not thousands.
Im not too fussed on the type but would like something with a seat no higher than the 695, or something that can be lowered.
Just want a reliable one that doesnt mind being kept outside

Wouldnt mind doing some Green laning on it as well so was thinking of something along the lines of a beemer f650.
Suggestions more than welcome.

Once baby is out of hospital and settled at home I will probably be looking to get another monnie some time in the future so not all is lost.. :)

Cheers
