My brother (and I) want a project. Doesnt have to be a runner, or in one piece. The only stipulation is its a naked bike.

Any ideas or reccomendations?

I was thinking something along the lines of a Monster/ Speed 4/ Hornet.

My brother wants to turn it into a cafe racer........ hummmmm.

how hard is it to turn a ducati SS into a supermono? obviously not as simple as lopping off a cylinder, but.........

an ss into a supermono? well you'd need an 888 engine and half a big bore kit for it.
A counter balance for the vertical cylinder.
Theres extra bracing at the headstock otherwise the front tyre touches the horizontal head under heavy braking
There was someone selling ducati supermono bodywork on ebay recently along with a spondon frame.
