My 748 needs a new disc (320mm). I'm sure a brembo one will be about 5 grand from Ducati so can anyone recommend where to get an after market pair from, not wavey though.

Ebay is always a worry but if you have to, you'll need to check the stats but I have a feeling Cagiva Mito have same discs and often sell cheaper. Can anyone confirm this.

Yeah i think they are but thr rotor is the wrong style.

A new Brembo disc should be around £150. You can get them for around £50-60 on ebay pretty regularly,
apart from the difference in carrier paterns you need to check the thickness.... min 3.5 or 4.5 for both acceptable wear left and matching your other existing disc.
I'd try and change them as pair if possible, if one has worn out I'd also want to know why it was wearing faster than its partner.

or convert your to full floating for nothing with a hammer ..it works .

the newer carrier pattern is alot lighter than the older one.

shouldnt you change them both at the same time anyways?
