Hi all

as the thread for Belgium is picking up just wondered what accom people were looking for?

Did we all want to stay at the same place or just make our own arrangements?

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

Would be good to find places that could take a small number of people at a time, maybe B & B's would be a good option.
Not sure if Travelodge does Belgium....

More than happy to stay in the same place, I don't mind whether it's a B&B or a hotel, preferable with en-suite , and I prefer not to share a room.....I snore badly!!!

I've travelled in europe,by bike, quite a lot, and family run establishments are far better...the equilavent of Travel Lodge tends to be either Formula 1 or Campenalies etc, either very cheap and basic or ,in my opinion, slightly over priced.

I think we need to know exactly where the venue is so we can get as close as poss. Happy to go almost anywhere except a tent. If anyone knows where we're going can they liase with MOB and get a list of choices please.

That much I know JP from the ealier threads. But where exactly is the venue?
I can find a few hotels for Dendermonde but nowt for Moerzeke.
Dendermonde is only about 5km away, just means no beer (or taxis) if taking the bike to site. But it would be good to book early at the same or a couple of hotels in a similar position if we're back there in the evenings to socialise.

hi , i was given this link for hotel by leo from mob, its got lock up garage etc, some german monster owners stayed there last year (no jokes)www.hetzoetewater.be

have a look and see what you think ?

i also had a offer from leo for people to camp at his home, he also has a large garage for the bikes, i will have to talk to him about numbers etc if anyone interested, if you are on tight budget like me it might be good option.

Hi guys,

In my village, Buggenhout, there is an Bed and Breakfast on a farm. About 9 rooms. You'll can check out their webpage: www.boskapelhoeve.be

It's about 10km from Moerzeke and 1km from my place. We can ride toghether to the MOB gathering. Also we can arrange some things to do on the saturday. A little ride, sightseeing.... Stop in a pub to drink some fine Belgium beers?

Albie 2 nights will share

White 537 2 nights single room

Gadget 2 nights

Benson & Jus 2 nights double

Hi JP
In a fit of earlyness have booked myself on the 08.42 Saturday, but heh thats almost 0920, coming back Sunday eve at 20.50 but thats always flexible, just turn up and get on whenever.
I may get to the chunnel Saturday and indulge in a 12 quid breakfast.......... or not... ............see you all there.

Hugh

Ps. Chunnel peeps always seem to keep bikes back, so they load them all together, ( no idea why) so I would probably get held back till the 0920 anyway, no worries got plenty of time aint we!

ok. But if you want to feel free to join the lot of us. You could change your train time I'm sure and get an extra 38 minutes in bed. Probably also going to arrange a countryside route to where we're going rather than motorway.
Otherwise we'll see you on the other side at some point.

I am 13 miles past the dartford tunnel. Through tunnel or bridge southbound and turn left along A2 for 13miles. Scrapps is around 45 miles further on and left a bit. All we would have to do on Saturday morn is ride 9 miles to M20 and straight down to folkstone . Technicaly Scrapps is nearer as you would ride further to him on the journey.
