Lifting/support points?

Would it be okay to support the front of the bike under the front cyclinder bottom cam cover? I dont want to overstress the cyclinder head?

Or, remove the exhaust and use the bottom of the engine casing?

I've bought this damn lift and I'm looking for options!

i would say yes it ok to support it on the cylinder head

ive done it before for fork oil change

though i would myself prefer to use the bottom of the engine case

Cheers Scotty, that's good to know. I feel the same but the engine case method would require removing the exhaust front pipe - whilst do-able, I imagine a PITA.

Although...... ABBA do a bracket that would probably fit under the case, so if the exhaust isn't too much bother to remove it may be the way to go.
