A serious post in the serious section.
If I have to spend another 4 hours of my life cutting the grass, I might just pour concrete on it. Has anyone got one of these little beauties cluttering up their shed that they don't want or need anymore?
Strangely enough, I am prepared to pay money for it but not that much!
Go and see if you've got one then.

Got a few forest sheep outside, there's one that looks big and strong :)

I had thought of sheep but I don't think they would get on with my imaginary goats or the Minke whale to be honest.

I am meant to buy it and keep it.
I have a feeling I'm not being taken seriously here...........

They are not cheap are they Nonnie?
We sold ours when we moved in February - it was 5 years old and we nearly got what we paid for it new.
Have you thought about getting a gardener instead? It must work out nearly as cheap.

I think the problem lies here...

...if you want to be taken seriously, you'll need to re-register and post again under a pseudonym.
Just a thought ;)

I do have a gardener! Trouble is, he's quite old and I think making him cut the grass for 4 hours might kill him off and could possibly be construed as abuse of the elderly. Also I'd have to pay him an extra 4 hours on top of what he does already and I'm better off with him being used elsewhere.
Incidentally his name is Wally and I am in the process of taking secret photographs of him around the garden so I can cut them all out, photoshop them and play "Where's Wally" with my drinking friends.
They're not cheap for sure Anne. But it is a chore I could do without, especially as it's now half done and I can't start the thing after emptying it now and there's dinner to do and popcorn to be gotten ready for Britains Got Talent - the final tonight!!!
Look, Cupcake, not one .....

Just put a scythe on the back of Rod's bike and get him to do wheelies round the garden

I've seen the garden, and you can't see the end due to the curvature of the Earth.
The bike would need a service at the end, before coming back.
Try a John deere mulching mower
i have one and cuts an acre just like that!
and you dont have to collect the clippings
And no it's not for sale

Rosies mother has one, more a mini tractor with a fitted mower attachment really, the garden is just slightly large, they used to keep cattle and sheep down the far end of it!!

Mega expensive option - block paving (Sod the cost it was sooo worth it)

I'm never quite sure why Astroturf hasn't caught on for home gardens.
Grass effect, no fuss, no muss.

You could just try sitting on top the spin dryer if you cant get the right mower to ride on. My sister says its great!

I am just having a little difficulty here trying to work out how looking for a lawnmower has turned into a post about insinuated simulated sex!

You could employ Mr. Melandri to do it when you get your posh new ride-on! He'll have nowt else to do after this season :( I really feel for him...
