I need advice on where to find a S4R S rear shock c-ring spanner - my local dealer has informed me that Ducati do not list a part for the Ohlins rear shock. Can someone point me towards a website that provides such a tool? The c-ring adjustable I have is too bulky. Thanks.

Local dirt bike shop will have them, I'm sure I've got a fold up to nothing one squirreled away somewhere.

Sorry, I should have said that my spanner is too bulky to actually unscrew the locking nut as the cylinder gets in the way. I need a narrow but strong c-ring spanner with a short handle and I assume Ohlins have such a thing but I cannot find it through Google.

I have hinged one a bit like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220239447076&ssPageName=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX_Stores&refitem=220237138373&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&refwidgettype=osi_widget&_trksid=p284.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%252BIA%26itu%3DIA%25 2BUCI%26otn%3D4%26ps%3D42
I found removing the seat and r/h side panel essential to gain viewability and access without skinning my right thumb.
