Help .....fuel tank O ring broken

I put a new filter in The Thailand S4 today and when started it cured all the bad running problems .......but the big green O ring on the Fuel Tank cap is broken in 2 places ...is there an alternative Honda or yamaha one as the Ducati dealer here is out of stock or is there a good bodge / glue that i can fix up the old O ring temperarily?

Dunno what the green ones are made of (they feel quite rubbery) but the normal black ones can be joined with superglue as long as you have a nice flat mating surface.

hmmm ..to get a flat surface I will have to shorten it by 10-12mm ,might not stretch then ...oh well what have i got to lose.

OK all sorted i went to a diesel fitter here in pattaya and we found some big O rings that work OK .
