ducati performance seat???

hi guys u was just wondering weather one of these would fit my 600 monster its a 98 model and i was told it wouldnt go straight on? if so how much needs to be changed

I have a 94 M600 and got a DP seat to fit, which will be going on after the bike has all been painted :)

I have looked at it myself and i think it will, you have to do the following-
1) If you have not got a pin locking seat on your bike you need the new locking mechanisium which costs about £10-15.
2) You have to make a small bracket that will move the locking mechanisium back a bit.
3) Also you may want to cut down the rubbers on the seat so that it fits nearer the bike.

There will however be a couple of things that you may notice, the seat does not fit perfectly on to the tank so it means that there is space between the seat and the indent where the seat would normally wrap round the tank.
The side panels may or may not have to be moved depending on how it sits.
It requires a little bit of work but compared to the standard seat it is definitely worth it :)
