Tacho drive cable - bottom end only

Hi I need the bottom end of a Tacho Drive cable as fitted to M900s up to 1996. This is for a very cunning plan:thumbsup: . Sadly If I tell you what it is I may have to kill you :didge:

As far as I'm aware, the M900 never did come with a tacho drive. Could you have an SS motor perhaps??

Well I am fitting a pair of "V" spec heads so they will have ben SS or similar
Hmm maybe I need to ask elsewhere??

As Zimbo said - you'll need a mechanical tacho & cable off something like an early 900SS. Early monsters didn't have any rev counter fitted at all. Later spec ones from about Y2K onwards (and aftermarket units for early bikes) are all electronic - picking up a signal from coil or ECU.

Agreed but early monsters had the 90SS tacho drive plugged off And the plug seems very hard to find. I have a tacho drive which I could seal off with a piece of tacho drive cable.
