Just a quick request before I pull both engine casings off to repaint them.

Is there anything I need to look out for? Anything going to spring out the side when I take them off?

If you're doing both at the same time, drain your oil. Apologies if I'm insulting your intelligence here.
I think depending on oil level you can actually take one case off at a time if you lean the bike over a reasonable way.

Off the top of my head I don't think theres anything to spring out at you though. Left hand case will want to stay in place due to the alternator magnets wanting to stay with the windings, just give it a yank.

Top tip when putting it back.

Make sure when you put the clutch cover back on the green o ring is in place. Otherwise the oil pressure light won't go out.

Not that I've ever done that you understand, but a mate did:dunce:

Cheers
