Some of us meet at 4:45 am at Ace to leave at 5am to High Wycombe to pick up more people. Then we go cross country (no motorways) to Gordano services to be there around 8:30 for BF. Then ride in to Bristol. Join in if you want to.

A HUGE thanks to UKMOC's Duncan,JR and others for their hard work today
AK & I joined the (153 italian bike) ride-in (as well as a few others tacked on the back) - all led by Tortuga who arranged the meet, route & ride etc.
A very good mix of friendly faces on Aprilla's, Moto Guzzi's, Laverda's, Benelli's as well as over 90+ Ducati's in the ride-in - which I REALLY enjoyed.
Fantastic day out - so many bikes in the centre already there, when we all arrived, swelling the numbers even more.
A long day out, but great to catch up with old & new faces (Big Red - you aint so big;) )

Loads of bikes and some fab cars as well, must post some pics in the morning.
Nice to meet CK, and AK if you keep reving it like that it'll break :eyepopping:

Couldnt better a day out like that really!

AK's bike was still happy to blatt when we left (tho I'd agree with you Stafford, that banging it off the rev limiter might not be too good for it)
Mind you, I've been nagging him for ages to give it a service, and apparently its due for a strip down, when he has got the race bikes sorted.

Nice new bike Stafford :D

Great day you lot. Counted just shy of 350 bikes and some real special stuff.

I know many of you set out before me and got home after, but by the time we had got the Ducati Bristol truck packed away it was gone 6pm and had been there since 7am setting up. Mind you its worth it with such a huge turn out.

Next year is a concern, this year the cars were sold out in February and the bike space is now packed full. If it keeps growing at this rate, where will we put you lot?

Thanks to all those who came along, its your show.
Special thanks to the marshalls, the other clubs, to the Guzzi guys, the council, the markets staff, the Alfa Romeo club, Ducati Bristol and Ducati Uk all who helped out in a big way. The stage / trailer once again proved to be brilliant and provided a focus.

Its thought that was the biggest Italian vehicle meet outside Italy this year. Some achievement to get over £5 million worth of vehicles on display.

Gutted I missed this, sadly by the time I finished getting ready and went to bed it was 12.45, and with my alarm set for 3.45 I woke up at 10.30am with it in my hand :(

That must have been done in the morning - as by the afternoon, I'd given up - as AK & Tortuga were having their own private comp - AK banging it off his rev limiter & Tortuga spitting flames out of the back of his 999  :D
