I know JMO and AK have them on their 620's or did, but has anyone else changed handlebars on a 620?

Am thinking of getting some Renthal low/ultra low handlebars for my 620 and wondered the following:

1. Do I need to buy any risers or should I be ok? I can't imagine it hitting/interfering with anything when steering at this height or am I wrong?

2. With the low/ultra low bars will I be okay for cable length, or have you had to extend brake/switch cables etc?

3. Does anyone know anywhere in London/Surrey where you can physically see them, so I can get a better idea for height.

Any advice/pointers from people that have made the move or similar would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Jon.

have you thought about switching to Magura Fat Bars as the S2R/S4R have? They dead comfy and look great. I think you can buy a conversion kit as you need the top yoke as well - I have them on both my 900 and 1000. Give Craig at Rapido a bell as I'm sure he mentioned the kit

Cheers Pedro for the suggestion. I can't really argue with both presidents can I.

I sort of remember yours but will take a closer look online and in the gallery section.

Cheers Rob. I was comparing Renthal's ultra low dimensions to that of my stock ones in between the hail showers and there isn't much difference is there.

Ped, what sort of price would i be looking at for the Magura ones? He asks slightly scared.

a cheaper conversion option would be:

the slight raise would also make sure the bars clear the fork tops/adjusters

I've got these on my XR

the Magura bars are about £115 I think - the clamps that Crust has suggested would make life very easy
