R&G crash bungs for 93 M900 dont fit?

I ordered the >2000 crash bungs on the RG website, which is what it told me to choose when I selected '93 monster, but the bar isn't long enough to go all the way through the engine mount?

The packaging says '97-2000 so have they sent me the wrong one or am I missing something? Any other pre-97 owners using RG bungs?

yep. The replacement one with the R&G doesnt seem long enough. Does anyone with a 93-97 monnie have RG bungs fitted?

honestly, I wouldn't bother. The advice I got was that crash bungs on the frame could wreck the frame just as easily as protect it. Just get some axle sliders and you'll be fine.

That and don't go too fast on your first trackday! Forecast is looking good BTW.

The only issue with R&G bungs that I'm aware of is the diameter of the bolt - some bikes have a 10mm bolt, others a 12mm bolt
