brake light annoyance

i have a 1998 monster dark.yesterday i noticed the brake light was on all the time.i have disconnected both front and rear switches but still it won't go out.pulling the fuse out works but leaves me with no horn so i have pulled off the connector to the bulb.also the last time i had the bike out the tacho was playing silly buggers but after fiddling about yesterday it works ok.my neutral light also returned yesterday but that has been hit and miss since i got the bike.any ideas please.cheers,mick

I've had problems with the way the wiring was routed. Basically it had got pinched between the seat and the frame which caused the wire to break.

Could be this has happened, sounds like the wire is making a circuit all the time so time to dig out the soldering iron.
